Scarab

One of the masterpieces of our ancient Egyptian ancestors is a scarab, a heart made of soap stone fixed on a base of gold and fixed from above by a cross-strip crossed with half a longitudinal strip made of gold and perched on both sides of the base two rings from which the scarab is suspended through a chain of golden wires twisted in a spiral manner worn in the neck for the purpose Compatible.

This scarab, known as the scarab of heart, has an important function, which is preserving the secrets of the deceased (the keeper of secrets), as it is the one who hides the bad and the secrets that could cause the destruction of its owner in the Azorite trial.

This unique masterpiece was found in the tomb of the three foreign wives of the king (Thutmose III), the sixth ruler of the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom, around (1479-1425 BC) in the Valley of the Monkey Cemetery on the western mainland of ancient Thebes.

 أحد روائع اجدادنا المصريين القدماء جعران قلب مصنوع من الحجر الصابونى مثبت على قاعدة من الذهب ومثبت من فوق بشريط عرضى متقاطعه مع نصف شريط طولى صنعا من الذهب ويقبع على جانبى القاعدة حلقتين يعلق منها الجعران عن طريق سلسلة عبارة اسلاك ذهبية مبرومة بطريقة حلزونية تلبس فى الرقبة لغرض تمائمى .

فهذا الجعران المعروف بجعران القلب له وظيفة مهمة وهى حفظ اسرار المتوفى (كاتم الاسرار) فهو الذى يخفى السوء والاسرار التى من الممكن أن تتسبب فى هلاك صاحبها فى المحاكمة الازورية .

عثر على هذه التحفة الفريدة بمقبرة الثلاث زوجات الاجنبيات للملك (تحتمس الثالث) سادس حكام الأسرة ال ١٨ عصر الدولة الحديثة حوالى ( ١٤٧٩ - ١٤٢٥ ق.م) بوادى جبانة القرود بالبر الغربى من طيبة القديمة .
